I like this amp, but it has 1 problem, it cant get to metal sound.
is it possible to add some of a metal pedal so it could sound metalish?
If it is possible, can you feel the presence of the tube in the amp with the pedal(as appose to a similar ss like vt30)?
my total budget is about 400-500$ depends on the prodect(i dont live on the us, and some items are 20-30% more expensive and some are 50-70% more expansive).

i don't gig so volume is not a problem.
metallica mainly some random riffs from metal bands.

i can try to go used but im not sure ill find some dills around here.
btw, currently i use an epi sg-400 and frontman 25r.

For some reason, i feel that this amp is getting mocked, i sometimes see "why not get a blackheart for bad tone"

Well i really liked their tone, and they are great amps for the money and are built like tanks.

Like WTF said up there, do you gig?
Can you go used?
What bands tone are you after?

i use one, and i love it.

although the only sound you can get with JUST the amp is a very british clean and some cranked EL84 driven tones, with a pedal or two the amp is ace.

it provides a good clean and tonal base for the addition of FX and distortions.

Epiphone Hummingbird
Epiphone Futura Custom Prophecy (Twin EMG)
Vox Valvetronix VT20+
Vox Wah
Boss MD-2
Danelectro Cool Cat Drive
Boss EQ

Yes

you definately know its all tube.

i picked mine over a VT30, because i wanted an all tube signal path.

Already answered the questions, but i still have couple of questions:
as you notice in my answers I'm not that versatile, so i don't have to get all of the effects and i want to as best sound as possible in my budget while keeping some of the versatility(for example, i want to have metal sound so i wont just buy the blackheart)
