im thinking about getting a fender standard strat hss model.

I play rock,metal,blues,and jazz.

I was wondering if this can suit me well, and if I can get some pretty heavy tones out of it.

I want it for cleans too, how would that perform/

You could probably put a better humbucker in it and get some pretty heavy stuff sounds. Oh, and that picture is a SSS strat

i know. I googled the picture but didn't include hss.

i'd put a seymour duncan distortion in it.

Oh, ok. Yeah, I don't know a lot about pickup brands and stuff like that, but you probably want something that has higher output.

Get a HSS strat, and depending on your amp if you can get a heavey distortion from it or not.
