So I have an amp with broken guitar chord input but a midi input. My keyboard has a midi output. Seems like I should be able to plug one into another but it makes no sound. Can someone tell me why, or what to do?

you might be better off in GG+A than here. you sure it's not the amp that's broken as opposed to the input?

I like the consideration put into the title. Sorry that I am not technically inclined enough to help you.

Yes, the input itself is fine, im not sure how to describe this. the washer holding it in place fell out and the input fell into the body, if I take it apart and stick a chord in it, it works fine.

surely a midi out of a keyboard is just data too though?

seriously GG+A will answer in a second - delete this and re-ask there, save the mods some time moving it about

(i liked the title too )
