Dude, you should write that yourself. It's improvised.
Here's something to maybe spur your creativity, a basic riff.

e ------------12----------------12--------------------------------------------
B --------12-----15p12h15b-----15p12------12--------------------------
G --14b--------------------------------------14------14b14p12------------
D --------------------------------------------------------------------14--------
A -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
E -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I assume you know E minor pentatonic scale.
I assume you can play a guitar vaguely
I assume you know the the definition of improvise
I assume you don't need help
The only 6 words that can make you a better guitarist:

Learn theory
Practice better
Practice more

Sure, someone can, but why should we? It's like asking: "could you post me the right answers for this math assignment?" That's stupid. If you wanna learn guitar, start learning it. If not, why do you care if you get an F from your Music Course?

lol assuming this means you have to improv a solo today and have done no practice or prep for it I'd stick mainly to one position, keep it slow, don't try and play too many notes and listen to what you're playing. If you've really done no prep just stick to 3 or 4 notes and focus on rhythm and phrasing. And do some prep next time

Lolz, I always feel so bad when people who have been playing as long as me can play sick solo's and stuff but reading your thread gave my self esteem a nice boost :P

Im sorry, I just don't see how you could argue that hardcore isn't metal. That just seems arrogant to me.

Yes, its its own kind of metal, but its still metal.

Check out the Hey Joe solo (Jimi Hendrix) and Dancing in the moonlight (Thin Lizzy) solo for ideas.

-edit- or just play them and hope that the crowd doesnt find out

I think we have finally found the line of theory and playing. Certainly, most of us could use the notes from an E penatonic scale and put them on a scale utilizing good intervals, permutation, voice leading and other things to 'compose' a solo. The challange of it is how to use the theory and IMAGINATION to come up with an intriguing solo expressing the feelings of the player. To me playing is an extention of ones soul, the ability to express yourself in a different way.

Target the notes of the chords, play through the changes hitting the chord tones.

If that means nothing to you read all posts above mine.

Funny thread Writing something before the day would negate the purpose of improvising.
And no, Guitar Hero will not help. Even on expert. Really.
