As many as you want mate. Typical types play 2 verses then a chourus twice and then go to a bridgey middle 8 thing and back into the chorus but joy division generally just played the one riff and rocked it out. Dylan has dozens of songs that involve the one verse structure and don't deviate as far as a chorus. Miles Davies on the other hand was happy to have a key change after every other barre and alternate it with a time signature variation. Listen to your favourite bands and apply a touch of feeling dude.

what he said, there is no set rule of how you should do it. look up forms for some ideas but you can really do what you want
