Also, you don't need a half stack. The classic 30 will be as loud as your MG and sound infinitely better and it's only 30 watts, so I think the VK is kinda a waste of money.

I'd go with the VK for sure, especially if its a straight trade.

^ Depends on the music the TS plays, I like the C30 better but the VK has more of a modern voice, (kinda; its more modren than the C30) and is better suited for metal, (although still not that well suited), with everything else the C30 beats the VK. 500 for the VK half stack is not a bad deal, but a used Classic would be cheaper and will sound better, the VK 412 cab is pretty crappy, honestly it's not very good at all, the VK does a lot better on a cab loaded with V30's. If you want the VK, I sugest getting the head only and looking for a better 212, or 412 cab, because IMO the VK 412 is not worth the time of day.

Agreed, although I would still get the C30 because it can do metal with a boost, even though it may be slightly worse at it than the VK, but also excels at everything else. Plus, it's also a lot easier to transport.

I'd go for the Classic 30, unless you are mostly going to play modern metal. If you are playing any mix of hard rock the Classic 30 is far superior to the VK.

I got 400 out of the mg..this thread is a few weeks old, I had a NAD with some pics of the 112 and my bc rich v.
but hell yeah warplanegrey, it is an improvement...not sure if your attempting sarcasm or not, but that 112 blows the shit out of that MG halfstack.

AND with the bad monkey, i took my eq out of the loop, and disconnected my sonic maximizer, packed the floor pod plus up and posted it for sale.
Id like a chorus, delay, noisegate and wah...but until then this thing rocks as it is...no complaints!
