Ok, I'm a senior, last year of high school. Problem is...I'm stuck between to very different career options, both of which I would enjoy doing. One would be going to Culinary School...the other enlisting in the Navy. Which would benefit me more in the future?

So it's been decided

first go to Culinary, then join the navy

p.s.: please don't take all the nonsense here serious

If it were my choice, I'd go with the Culinary School option. I still plan to go to culinary school before I die.

It was the only task I would undertake...

culinary school seems awesome to me, the idea of constantly being around good food
Scar tissue that I wish you saw
Sarcastic mister know it all
Close your eyes and I'll kiss you cause
With the birds I'll share
This lonely view

I think the navy would be a better choice right now.

You have your whole life to go to culinary school...not so for the navy.

Yeah go sign your life away so that you're a slave and die, sounds fun.

Or make epic food.

Because that's exactly how it works, right? Even if you don't believe in it, show some respect...

But, TC, why do you want to join the Navy? You obviously like to cook, but why the Navy?

That word lost its meaning a long time ago when people gave it out for everything that they did.

I say become a cook, i had a 4 year-study (not really EXPERTISE wise) of cooking and if it wasnt for the horrible teachers who are obsessed with cleaning the kitchen, i would have continued it, it´s really fun and the stuff you can make is truly heaven.

My hours of cooking where split into, 2 hour cooking 5 hours cleaning

Your last job only paid you $7.00 AUD an hour? That's like $6.05 in the US. What the hell is the minimum wage over there?
