I've seen mostly .9's actually. But there is no "standard". The genre makes all the difference. Blues players play ridiculously thick strings. SRV never played anything below .12's. Metal is usually .10 or .11, depending on how low you tune.
Strats and teles from what I've seen usualy come in .9's. Les Pauls and things of that nature come in .10s. Kinda just depends.
most are 10's or 9's. it depends on scale length and tuning. 24.75" in E standard are usually 10's. 25.5 at E are usually 9's
