Okay so I'm looking for good songs from Tupac. I already know Last ones left which I think is a gem. The only thing is there's some style in songs that I don't like, like California love. I don't like the cheesy side of it.

So I'm looking for songs with a more serious, "gangster" feel if I can say. Just like Last ones left, actually.

Thanks.

Thing is I'm still a rather new listener to rap,so I'm kinda picky. I'll definatly try your suggestions tho, thanks.

I'm pretty much a metalhead, but I'm starting to open my mind to new things. I really think that some rap is really great, it's just there's a lot of it that's crap(the rap industry being very commercial these days).

Kanye's music is good but the fact that he can't perform as well live as it is on the studio version kind of kills it for me...

I used to be into metal and I've moved on to rap like you. The first Tupac songs I liked were Staring Through My Rearview and Breathin', both of which are sick songs. I'd also recommend Troublesome '96 and Hellrazor for you.

I like his song "Yo I shot Someone Dawg, Does that make gangsta?" and also the song "YO DAWG da city is tough tough motherf***in life, but yo white ass wouldn't know nothin bout that. Dawg". Some of ma favorites.
I didn't think we would ever make enough money to pay rent by playing music.

Troublesome 96, Ghetto Gospel are my favorites by him. Props for variety in your music tastes, I'm the same. My favorite bands are Protest the Hero, and Death Cab for Cutie, but I love some good rap.
