Alright, I was messing around and this riff sounded very familiar, but I couldn't quite pick out the name so here it is

Let it ring throughout, all eighth notes at a tempo around 115

E-------0-------- -----0-------- -----0-------- -----0--------
G-----1--1------ ----1--1------ ----1--1------ ----1--1------
B---2------2---2 --2-----2---2 --2-----2---2 --2-----2---2
D-2----------2--- 3---------3--- 4---------4--- 3---------3---
A----------------- ---------------- --------------- ---------------
E----------------- ---------------- --------------- ---------------

EDIT: Thank you for pointing out the mistake. It was supposed to stay minor

Not sure, sounds kind of cool. though the A minor to A major sounds a bit odd..

dude, this does not belong in the pit. not flaming, but for future reference, try one of the guitar forums.
In speed versus emotional playing, i think of an M16 versus an M24. You can have 650 rounds per minute, or one round, one kill. Both should be in your arsenal.

I also recognize it, can it be from the James Bond theme?

Sounds like one of the later songs on The Wall, I can't remember which...

Yeah that one. And I've always thought that sounded a bit like the Bond theme as well

yeah, it's "Is There Anybody Out There?" by Pink Floyd from The Wall...

funny... I'm a bassist/mandolinist but this is one of like 5 songs that I've learned on guitar so you got lucky.
