My idiot friend came over yesterday to play some guitar. While I went to the bathroom he was playing my guitar and the tone knob fell off and like an idiot he tryed supergluing it back on.
How do I get the knob off?

Sorry, but I don't really see the point of this thread. Really, all your asking is 'How do I get rid of superglue.'
What I'd do it pull really really hard, maybe with pliers. If that doesn't work, break it off however you see fit, get rid of all the glue and residue, and buy a replacement.

EDIT: Wait, what exactly were you asking?

and dont use nailpolish remover. it aint gonna do crap to dry super glue espicially were it is. plus since its an acetone solvent if you get any on your guitar say good bye to your finish

/thread.
Then replace the pot, the pot's shaft is covered in superglue. You won't be able to get another knob on there.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
