Hi, I've been stalking these pages for about a year now but never posted something. Now i'm ready to build.

I want to build a Starcaster style semi-hollow guitar but can't find plans for it anywhere.

I have loads of reference photos so i'm going to draw it using cad software and then by finding out the correct scale length I should be able to scale the drawing to get the correct body dimensions.

Can anybody help with the scale length for a Starcaster?

I'm quite positive its 25.5"

Considering it's a fender, it's quite likely.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

They are 25.5" I remember reading that somewhere. doesn't have to be exactly on par with fender's specs though, since you're the one building it,
