So, I just bought some Mic Package from Guitar Center. It was 40 bucks for the mic, cable, and amp. Cheap, Iknow. But I gotta start somewhere?

(On a side note, I was very angry to find that the cable didn't come with an amp jack. Luckily, my cousin left one lying around, otherwise i'd be fu*ked.)

So, I plug the mic into the amp (It's a Spider III. I know, I know.) And no matter what distance I'm at, (and I'm on the clean channel) I get terrible feedback.

How can I fix this?

It's a mixture of cheap mic, and using an amp and speaker not designed for those sort of frequencies. I promise you, you will not get usable vocal amplification out of that amp.
