AC/DC Live. Angus' tone here is untouchable for classic rock.

I realize someone's going to be all "lulz. AC/DC sucks dude" but I don't care.

edit: It's Marc Ribot performing some song i don't know the name of but he always plays it live and this ones perfect, there's one up there somewhere where the audience keep trying to clap along as if its some 4/4 tune haha, you'd have thought they'd have realised he wasnt gonna stick to any tempo or timing

Dave Matthews Band live is fantastic. I realize a lot of the Pit may not enjoy his music, but you've got to admit, it's a f*cking great show.

nuff said. The second one doesnt even have lyrics, and it's in the early life of the song, and it is still amazing.

I highly dislike AC/DC and I think that WAY too many of their songs sound the same. However, I saw them live in July and they were great. They put on an amazing show and Angus had a great tone. I just really wish they would switch up their style for an album.

But mine is Metallica-One off of the S&M album. That song with the symphony is great.

EDIT: Another one I think is great.

Iron Maiden-Fear of the Dark from Rock in Rio.

Chinese Democracy is a great album, people need to get over Slash.

Proud fan of Pop, Rap, Rock, and Metal.

Damian Marley-Welcome to Jamrock

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xSyPFnv9hY

That was my first thought when I saw this thread but my second thought was something much more iconic from Damian's father...

Bob Marley's Jammin' at the One Love peace concert. Anybody who knows about that should know why its great.

Intentions Clear > Syncopated Strangers - Umphrey's Mcgee live 6/5/08

The fact that a huge 30+ minute chunk of this segment is completely improvised makes me want to cry. Umphrey's Mcgee will forever be the best live prog/rock act of all time.

Hmmm... most recently I saw Anberlin, they put on a truly epic show IMO. Maybe its just cause I was obsessed with them for years. :P

I also recently saw Closure in Moscow with Emery and the like and holy **** Closure in Moscow is awesome. I was creaming my pants the whole time. I took the time to recover during Emery lol.

Wow.

The only thing wrong with this is that Buckley is way too good.
And also it makes me sad becasue he isn't around any more.

Same here man, same here.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but Iron Maiden's "Fear of the Dark" is amazing live. The crowd always knows the words, and having that many people chant out a song is incredible.
EDIT: Haha, it was already mentioned on the first page.

I'll go with John Butler Trio's "Ocean"
