Back once more with the epics, this titled 'The Insurgent'. This song is dedicated to juxtaposing open flowing sections with crunching riffs and all that goodness.

Longest song I've ever completed at 10:05, and I hopefully made it interesting enough to sustain your attention. If you listen to all of it you have all of my love.

C4C as always.

Typing this as I'm listening...
The balance could have been better. The bass drum is too punchy for my taste and the electric guitars sound quite dull.
I do like the riffs and solos though Very clean playing and the composition appeals to me.
All in all, nothing much to add, except that you should try and remix this

Everything about this song was great, all the transitions flowed very nicely, the riffs/licks were awesome and display some excellent playing and songwriting skills.

The intro sets the tone right from the very beginning and the rest of the song does not disappoint, the great lead work and awesome progressions and riffs following up meeting the high expectations left in the first few moments of the song.

Are there any vocals planned for this? I feel this would compliment the track beautifully. Even so, the song was absolutely amazing without vocals - loved it.

I'd love to get some vocals happening for this track haha. It would probably expand it out an extra few minutes but yes it was always planned to have lyrics. Thanks so much for the praise.

And Wildthing; thankyou for your advice, I must be too close to the track to actually realise those mixing flaws. Thanks for the kind words too

Great ideas, Nice guitar work. The drums sound a little electronicy, I think they could be mixed better. But I'm very impressed, they heavier parts were sick. 8/10

Side Note for those wondering; The drums are not real. They are from a keyboard sample kit.

Hey thanks again !

Your song is also great, it keeps my attention from begining to end.

I like the way you recorded acoustic guitar and electric, it's pretty cool !
I liked the sound of the guitars by the way. The riffes were good, I liked the tempo variations all the combinations of instruments.

The only I didn't like so much is the sound of the cymbals on the drum part, but i know it's hard to get a perfect sound, and particulary on a keybord :p , so I think it does nothing bad on the quality of your composition !

You got very good guitar skills

PS: the part from 9:20 was great I think that final part was my favourite
