As some of you may recall from past threads, the speaker in my RG50TC has seen better days, and thus, could do with being replaced. Would a 2x12 make a drastic difference to my sound from the stock 112?

What cab specs will I need? The stock speaker is ~70watts at 8ohm, and the amp has a speaker out.

Was looking at that because it's cheap.

When i still had my RG50TC before I got my 6505 I ran it through the 2x12 I built with V30s and it sounded SO much better. Just make sure the cab is 8 ohms and more than or equal to the wattage of what the speaker in the combo is.

If by "clean" you mean "get a finger right up in there and do a good bit of spelunking" then i guess "at any given opportunity" is my answer.

Its a good cab for they money. If you don't like it you could always sell the speakers for same as what you payed for it

*edit*

never mind that one sucks. Get the V30 version.

It's worth the extra £50 then? I saw that posted by someone who just bought it on a different forum and they said it's great for the price.
