I recently discovered 'nasheeds' or Islamic worship music, and I was wondering whether there were any other religions with worship music?

I know there's some Jewish music....

Arab Money - Busta Rhymes?

Islamic prayers are said in the song, if that counts.

Edit: This obvious joke is obvious.

Its not about the Radio its about talent, the front man has a bigger vocal range than Micheal Jackson and he can sing from heavey metal to high pitched ...No.12 on the top 20 under rated guitarists of ALL TIME...etc

Check out Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - Sufi Muslim singer. I've only the one CD, so I couldn't tell you with authority what his stuff is like, but the CD I have is very droney, trancey, chanty sort of stuff. I thought it was Indian music the first time I heard it.

pagan metal is an obvious one...a lot of viking metal bands believe in the gods too.
also a lot of RAC (nazi punk) is by bands that believe in the norse gods, and there are quite a few songs about them, notably "god of thunder" by skrewdriver. also blood red eagle, a band classified as RAC tend to sing songs about the gods rather than racialism. to quote a friend of mine, "they're more like viking rock n roll."

Jeff Buckley is heavily inspired by his stuff, maybe I'll check him out.
