At 3:33 the music gets very quiet. If you listen close to the studio album version you can faintly hear a woman whisper out "I never said I was afraid of dying." This is just before a small piano bridge.

Typical 70s BS.

nope she says "If you hear this whisper, you die"'
much creepier
wikipedia is wrong

That album is LOADED with that stuff. They interviewed people and put some sound bites on the album.

They even interviewed Paul McCartney for it, though nothing from that interview was put on the album.

Oh, and in case nobody on this site has realized by now, I'm a huge Pink Floyd fanboy.

Well, the most obvious one on DSotM is at the end of Eclipse when someone (probably Roger or David) says "There is no dark side of the moon really, matter of fact it's all dark". It's about 1:32 in to the song.

It's a roadie they called The Hat.

And one of Paul McCartneys bandmates named Henry something is the dude saying "I don't know, i was really drunk at the time" between "Money" and "Us and Them"

I heard "I never said I was afraid of dying."
Did you know the odds of a Vault-Tec shelter failing are 1,763,497 to 1?

So imagine life in a Vault-Tec Vault. Not just a future.
A brighter future... underground.

Yeah, that's what it is.

And finally, a thread where I can put my pretty much useless knowledge of most everything Pink Floyd to good use!

HAL won't stop staring at me.

Stop that HAL.

I'm sorry crazy, I'm afraid I can't do that.

I was activated in the HAL plant in springfield Illinois, and they taught me a song there, would you like to hear me sing it?

It's called, "Comfortably Numb"

I imagine it would be quite interesting to hear HAL sing Comfortably Numb.

I will now scour the interwebs for a video of that.
