So I've looked around the every version of Free Bird that's been put up and none of the Guitar Pro files have the slide solo written out in Open G tuning like it was meant to be played. Now I understand that if I am in a recording studio it doesn't matter whether I'm in Standard Tuning or in Open G but I hardly doubt that I will be releasing this on an album anytime soon.

Tabers out there who don't understand why it should be played in this tuning should try playing the rhythm part while having heavy guitar string and action about a quarter inch away from the fret board. Its just much easier to play it like this.

I would like to know if there is anybody out there who would like to correctly write out the part in Open G, while still having the guitar riff for the second guitar solo. Thank you to whoever decide to do this.
