Just want to get peoples opinion on bass through a compressor. Im going into studio in a month, and im wondering if i should pick one up before heading in?

For those that like compression, reccomend some good ones?

What kind of music do you play? Bass compression is pretty important. To be honest the studio should have their own outboard compressor.

All decent studios have compressors, i wouldn't worry.

However they are very handy to have live

Yeah I dig my digitech bass squeeze, but dont worry about going into the studio with one.
The engineer will more than likely have a highly tweakable rackmount one.

DBX 160A which is a rack mount
And the EBS multicomp.
