Hey everyone, im playing at a pub as a two piece (Guitar+Vocals, Drums) and was wondering what you guys reckon are good pub songs. It's semiacoustic, so not too rocky, although semi versions of rock songs are usually pretty mad...
So yeah, songs that always go down well at pubs with the setup that i'm using?
Cheers

That has got to be one of the most oversuggested songs...

Heard once that on a pub , rocke'd ( it can be play'd on acustic , or little distortion )
though may be hard cause of the language

It does depend on the mood of the Pub...but

Eddie Vedder ?
Nirvana ?
Dave Matthews

Universal songs that everyone knows =D

How about KISS - God Gave Rock 'n' Roll To You? I can imagine that being an easily recognizable and possibly even sing-along sort of song.

Ac/Dc, Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Motorhead, Ozzy Osbourne, Priestess, and Zakk Wylde (Book Of Shadows).. Theres a lot more man.

Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again - The Angels

Will definately go down well in an Aussie pub, or anywhere I guess.

i was gonna say am i ever gonna see your face again

also
'throw your arms around me' by the hunters and collectors (pretty sure it's by them anyways)
'the man who sold the world' by david bowie
'kiss me i'm ****faced' by the dropkick murphys
'you shook me all night long' by ac/dc could probably work well on the acoustic.
edit: just about any johnny cash. i'd recommend big river, walk the line, get rythm, etc.

that is what girls find attractive.
