My local music shop has a used Hughes and Kettner Switchblade 100 halfstack for $999 including the footswitch. It looks to be in pretty good shape.

Is this a fair price? Is this a decent, versatile halfstack? MY gear is in my sig as far as what guitars, etc. I currently use and I have been playing some classic rock, southern rock, but my heart is into hard rock and some metal.

Thanks.

I have one and can honestly say it's one of the most versatile and great sounding amp I've ever seen and played, especially in it's price range. 999$ is a steal.

It does have effects: Reverb, Chorus, flanger, tremolo, Delay.

Jump on it, you won't be disappointed!

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

I know, that is why I am interested because it is the first one I saw around here and it is in a little local shop.

I might go check it out again after work in a few hours.
