I bought it a few months ago, I want to say 5 months? I don't know. I bought it from a dude on craigslist for 35 dollars plus an amp (Which sucks) a gig bag and the wire (Which also sucked but i replaced that) Anyway, I traded it for my B.C. Rich Warlock Bronze series and... Now that I know a little more about guitars, here's my thought... The guy that traded me had obviously been playing longer than I have (When he got here he took the little strat and shredded some crazy s*** on it), so here's what I wanna know : Does he know something about this little knock-off strat copy that I don't or is he an idiot?

(Apparently the brand is B-Guitars, but I can't find ANY info on it. I know the brand because I found some guitars with similar logos on Amazon)

I traded my strat copy for the bc rich. I don't know why it has such a bad rap, it's better than the strat.

whats your question??? him knowing more about than u wont affect his skill to shred on it. knowing more about the guitar wont make u shred better.

My point was, he obviously had been playing longer so I assumed he knew more about guitars than me.
the strat copy was my first guitar and i traded it to him for the warlock. Obviously it wasn't a fair trade that's why I want info on this strat.

Yeah i don't really get what you're asking... I thought you traded a warlock for the strat... but yeah, you should have kept the strat. The strat has more versatility: 3 single coils, tone pots, and a whammy. And man, that sunburst looks great for a copy.

Okay let me restate the question.
Is that copy worth more I thought?

good thats a question. i have no idea, star copies arnt normally worth alot
#13
Well the strat copy probably isn't valued for much at all, especially since you can't find anything about the company or anything. So yeah, the Warlock is worth more.
#14
yeah that's what I thought.
I didn't lie about it either, lol. I could have said it had an aftermarket neck, lol.

I don't understand why people are confused by this post.

He is simply asking why someone who has a decent
proven mid grade guitar would trade it for one of 1000s of
offbrand strats with a name noone has even heard of,
when the well known ripoffs go for only 100-200 brand new
anyway.

In essence, he can only assume that this person is either
ignorant to the value of the strat rip off, or he secretly knows
it is worth much more than the trader knows and obviously
worth much more than his BC Rich.

The fact that the guy was shredding on the strat is relevant
because it shows he is not a newbie to guitar, and backs up
the idea that maybe he knows this guitar may be worth
more than he would admit to.

How much were they going for?
That should give you a general idea of it's value.
Key word is GENERAL...

Then my guess is that guitar was a Kit guitar, and not worth much at all.

So it's a safe bet the guy was just a player and knew nothing about his gear.

Not really, it's probably more along the lines of the old saying..

"One man's trash is another man's treasure"

The guy just liked that guitar...nothing more

Eh I guess. I liked it too, but then it started buzzing( you know, fret buzz)and I was like maaaan. I think I bent the neck when I put 11 gauges on it. I decided to try to trade it before I invested money into a >35 dollar guitar.
