Hate to be the bearer of bad news........

Thats right another NGD as promised

Desc.

The Protone Ram Skull...
The Ram Skull is a re-birth of the ridiculously expensive and hard to find Big Muff Pi commonly known as the "Ram's Head". The Ram was favored by David Gilmour from '77-'89. I ask you- when was his tone any better than that time frame?

And a fun fact. This pedal was straight off the Namm 09 board so it was touched by some of legends. So maybe there Chi will rub off on my playing...

I know I know me getting better at playing pffft its gonna take alot more then that to get my playing to sound good

Thats the beauty of it, it was all trades

No wallet needed, well a little bit of money was spent

And that one will probably be next week sometime. Working out another trade as we speak.

As for how it sounds, clips and so forth ill report back in the next few days. Have to reset everything. Every time I turn around something is gone and something new appears so the rig is sort of in shambles at the moment
#14
I would say something critical about all the new gear, but if you got the financial flexibility to get such awesome stuff I'm more than happy to drool at the pics.

^ I also completely demolished and rebuilt my rig, including the guitar, in a month or so. It's quite easy to do if you're not 100% satisfied.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Feel free to express yours so I can make an informed judgement about how stupid you are.

Even boosted she was far from my liking when it came to high gain. Low gain she performed quite nicely but once you cranked up the gain and got into the metal realm. She falls flat on her face, to thin coupled with a harsh top end that even cranking couldnt cure. It just flat out doesnt sound good to my ears. But there are others that swear by it..

And thanks again everyone for the props, cheers, death threats and plots to steal my rig. Its how I know yall really do care

HNGD....again?? Are you enjoying the Triple X? I cannot get over how versatile these amps are, every time I tweek on mine I find another setting that I never though was there just learking in the active EQ's, if only the ultra channel and the Crunch channel where the same, it would be somthing else. I did find a setting on the ultra channel that I like thats pretty far out of the ordinary, turning the gain down to around 1-2, treble and bass around 3-4 with the mids turned up to around 5 gives a real crunchy drive, if your into a more "mid-gained"setting you should give it a try.

Okay where are the mods when you need them!?

I mean there has to be some sort of rule that limits how many NGD threads you're allowed to make within a certain period of time - I'm sure IP is well over that limit

When are you gonna get clips up????????

Yup yup, same here. This whole trading thing started off 2 years ago when I traded my nitrous kit for a Marshall 1960 cab and some other stuff

Ill check it out
