Yeah Black Books was damn good. "You're a beard with an idiot on the end of it"

My absolute favourite is Curb Your Enthusiasm though. Without a doubt.

I love the IT crowd. It's on par with peep show and black books.

...I still fail to grasp what's so appealing about British humor sometimes.

Being american doesnt help.

No offence.

Funniest TV moment is Peep Show when Dobby makes Mark jizz in his pants in the stationery cupboard and he has to pretend he's pissed himself. That was not on a par with it.

that is amazing. the proud look on his face when he says "when really, i came all in my pants" (or words to that effect) gets me every time.

I don't get most American humour, at all (besides The Office, that was way better than the Brit version)... It's all personal opinion.

Anyway, I love the IT Crowd, it's definitely one of the the best sitcoms out there. Was PMSL laughing at this, haven't seen 3rd season yet.

Most americans wont understand the sarcasm in british humour as it is not featurDed much in american comedies. Those 2 years of media studies didnt go to waste after all :

I think Peep Show > The IT Crowd > Black Books

But all three are incredible.

Every moment of Peep Show, even the least funny moments had be laughing harder than that.

You got jipped if that's all you learnt, because anyone who's done a bit of channel surfing would know that, unfortunately, it's called common sense nowadays, what being extremely common and whatnot.
