Friday Morning

3:25 in the mornin'
ill tell you my liver was burnin'
i see the tables are turnin'
my senses feeling sharper then a knife

i look at my phone, but no ones replyin
feelin alot like im dyin
sittin alone with my guitar
drinking a miller high life

but i know, i know, i know its all wrong
been countin the hours since you've been gone
it's friday morning, and im already drinking
im all alone, alone, alone its all wrong
in the daylight ill be gone
it's friday morning, and my heart is sinking

light up a cigarette
try my hardest to forget
i cant sleep
i just wake up covered in sweat

i cant kill the anxiety
'cuz its already killin me
just one more thing
i wish i didnt have to regret

but i know, i know, i know its all wrong
been countin the hours since you've been gone
it's friday morning, and im already drinking
im all alone, alone, alone its all wrong
in the daylight ill be gone
it's friday morning, and my heart is sinking

4:01 in the mornin'
ill tell you, my liver is burnin'
i see the tables are turnin'
my senses feeling number then on ice

i look at my phone, but i dont give a ****
it looks like im running out of luck
it looks like im all on my own again

This Lonely Town

the sun sets on this lonely town
look up to see no one around
not gonna let this one bring me down

street lights cast me into shadow
my thoughts, cares, now nothing matters
my challenge now; learn to live without her

this lonely town, as dark as the night sky
abandoned, stranded, im left wondering why
as the day begins the rums just kicking in
and now its 10 til 5
in this lonely town

harbor and 19th st, triangle square
walk down the streets so bare
she came and went, but the citys still there

harper park on tustin ave.
memories are all i still have
wouldn't talk it back for the world, i swear

this lonely town, as dark as the night sky
abandoned, stranded, im left wondering why
as the day begins the rums just kicking in
and now its 10 til 5
in this lonely town

ive done it now, i set myself up for the beginning of the end
cigarettes and cheap beer with every dollar i spend
i had my run, i had my fun, she came and she went
all alone in this lonely town, the citys my only friend

criticism would be greatly appreciated
