Hi,
In my search for a new amp I noticed the Carvin V3 100w head.
I can get it shipped to Europe for under 750eu.
And all reviews I read are really good.
But this sounds to good to be true.
Is it? Or is this finally a good amp for a the right price?

Thanks
Cheers

it is a really good amp with great controls, id get it, but for 800 you could probably get a used V3 212

And how do you think it will sound with a greenback cab?
I allready own a cab, so a combo wouldn't be a good deal.

It is a very good amp, extremely versatile. However, it is a jack of all trades master of none. Are you looking for a versatile workhorse or a one trick pony?

I'm looking for a good modern tone.
Good for drop tunings, good clean channel.
I now have a hughes and kettner tube 50 and it's not enough for me.
Not very versatile and not loud enough.
