several months ago, my whammy bar broke inside my bridge. last week, I bought an original Fender MIM bridge for my guitar. I went to change it, but the tremolo block was too small and the strings wouldnt fit. I noticed that the new bridge's block was substantually smaller than my old one.

any ideas why this happened??

thanks

my guitar is a 1995 Fender MIM Strat
