Below, (or above, I'm not really sure which) are pictures of my Epiphone acoustic-electric bass guitar. The action is set really high as you can see in one of the pictures and I was wondering if there's anything I can do about it. I'm not really a pro-guitar fixer so I don't know how to deal with the acoustic saddle. And I'm also missing the battery pack for the pre-amp. Does anyone know if I can special-order this from Guitar-Center? or any place like that? I checked the Epi site and it only had major parts for sale. Any help is appreciated.

Keep in mind that acoustic basses need pretty high action to sound right.

That said, is there a significant amount of bow in your neck? If so, getting a set of light gauge strings should fix this problem...it looks like you need new ones anyway.
