So, i just started high school and have to get up earlier than normal, and have trouble getting out of bed unless I literally force myself to. How do you guys manage to get up in the morning?

I open my eyes and roll out of my bed.

Edit: Actually, I set an alarm on my iPod (I made a playlist of songs that should be able to wake me up) and turn the volume on maximum, thus forcing myself to get up.

depends. In HS, I kind of woke up during third period or so (basically sat around drowsy for a few hours in classes). In uni, if I absolutely need to get up I set a bunch of alarms across the room and a phone alarm right by me so it vibrates the bed. Then also if I'm feeling like I can't wake up, I'll ride my bike around the block or something to get my blood pumping.

Oh, and GO TO BED EARLIER.

I make a playlist on my ipod and put it in my alarm clock. Then I get up and take a shower. It's always hard to force yourself out of bed, you just gotta deal with it.

Usually works. I'm sure one time I managed to get up, turn my alarm off and go back to bed while still asleep

But to add to this suggestion, get a radio alarm clock and tune it to a station with terrible music

Set an alarm and wake up, it's not that hard, maybe don't stay up until 1:30 every night and go to sleep at a time which allows you to get a reasonable nights sleep.

I like my job, so I get out of bed. Put your alarm clock on the other side of the room though, that means you have to get out of bed to turn it off. And don't have the radio for your alarm, make it a crappy alarm you don't want to listen to.
