just wonderin if anyone has any experience down-tuning to D or C with these pickups?

would it get super "muddy" or anything?

You stole my heart!
You ran away!
Now I'm heartless!
So fuck you anyway!

Paul Waggoner from Between The Buried in Me plays PRSes, and they play in C# Standard.

I would think you'll be alright.

this is absolutely, 100% correct.
For example, Dave Mustaine has a signature coffee mix.

Maybe, but I couldve sworn I saw the zebra pickups in Paul and Dustie's guitars during the Colors Live dvd.

I doubt they use Dragon IIs. They aren't very hight output pickups at all.

I'm not sure about what they have in their PRSs, but for sure, they used to use EMGs in their Ibanezes.

Know what, I just saw them play last night with their PRS's, very nice looking instruments though I didn't really pay attention to the pickups.

81/85s in the Ibbys, D-Activators in the PRSorz.
