Sorry I didn't quite know where to put this but:
My band will be releasing an EP soon, and so we need to start burning the songs onto CD. How do I make it so that when people put the CD in their itunes etc the Aritst Name, Track Name, Track Number etc come up? Cos I've burnt a few just to give to other band members and it just says 'Track 01'.

Do I need some specific software or anything? And if so, which one?

Cheers,
-Guy

It's called CD text. If you're burning the CDs with itunes, you can enable it in the preferences (use "Burn with CD Text"

When you click "Burn Disk" in iTunes, make sure that on the prompt that comes up, something like "Save CD Text" is checked. By default it's not, which I think is weird :P.
Need a website? I can make you one for pretty cheap.

Thanks alot for the help It's really appreciated. I tried it out and it works nicely...one thing though...when you play the CD in Windows MediaPlayer it still says 'Track 01', or is that just cos WMP sucks?

Generally they find the CD data in an online database, Gracenote is a well-known one. In order to submit your CD to the database, you need to use your ripping software to submit the CD info (rtfm I'm afraid).

With pedals you can throw your guitar down for an impromptu pedal drone solo, whereas if you did that on a rack it would just look like you were programming your washing machine.
