Hey, I'm hoping some of you knowledgeable people can help me out.. For some reason, my EHX small clone makes a really loud pop when I stomp on it for the first time.. after that It's usually ok, only the first time I switch it on.. Its in the loop of my Rockerverb 50..

mine does it too. but why does it matter, just get that pop out of the way as soon as you plug it in and then its smooth sailing for the rest of the time.

That would be the capacitor(s) discharging. You can just turn it on and off a couple of times before playing and it should be fine.

That or open it up and solder a 1m resistor between the hot and the ground of both the input and the output jacks.

Cool bananas. Was just worried about it possibly damaging my amp. Sometimes the pops ****ing loud..
