Because the characters have no personality, the plot is more like a teenage goth's wet dream, and in addition to that, it's poorly written.

Because it ruined the Image of Vampires, and the oversaturation of it is annoying.

It's dull, poorly written, and people are lapping it up. As artists, it's our duty to defend art by pointing out what utter trash it is.
