Something I created, sounds good. Now is it theoreticly stable? (I've read the music theory thread several times, and yes I know whats a II-V-I)

It doesn't have to be "theoretically stable" to sound good? If you say it sounds good then it is.

Record it so we can hear your voicings. Like the guy above said... if it sounds good.. then it is... don't worry about it...

Now soloing over it will be your challenge

Why does it matter? you said it sounds good. If you meant "is it consistent with common practice".... the answer is no as far as I can tell. again..... does it matter? If you like what you did I'd say it doesn't.

Theory is a tool used to analyze.... not dictate what you write.

Soloing aint no problem, recording will be. One my mic (shure) shorted out, two I found out it was a chinese copy. Well I can plug my electric guitar (cheap plywood strat copy) into the mic in port and record it with audacity, will that be ok quality for you?

or you could play them yourself and see what they sound like...

Which is what I'm going to go do right now.

edit: yeaaah the chords I tried for that sounded a bit strange so knowing what voicings you were using would be of some help
