It holds many similar qualities.

It's rocky with a similar structure I believe.

It's about the same distance from its star as we are. 20 hour days.

They find stuff like this all the time. Nothing impressive. Unless they can actually get a picture of this "earth-like" planet.

Usually when they find these, the 'small rocky' planets are still 3-4 times bigger than Earth.

Meaning 20 hour years.

And it has the same qualities as earth, but it's too hot, and I'm not sure if it has water... If so it's just boil all over...

pshhh, its only a matter of time until those New York/New Jersey snowbirds hunt it down and claim it. Cover it with TooJay's, Presbyterian churches, bingo nights, and golf courses.

Though golfing on a planet of lava could be fun.

Not if you believe in me, you don't

Seriously though, it would take a few BILLION YEARS for it to turn somewhat habitable, so this isn't even news. I just thought if was funny that they would say that about a lava covered planet

Strike him down with sleight of hand.

Why isn't it news? The point of the article wasn't to say we found a place to go live, it was to say that its becoming more and more probable that we will find a planet with livable conditions.

True. But that's obvious anyway. The more we look, the more we are BOUND to find something. If i can find the picture that blows peoples minds on how big the universe it i'll post it. you mind will = blown
