Soapbars have a pretty unique sound, so make sure you like soapbars before you get them. If you want a PRS then I recommend you try the other SEs, the single cut, tremonti SE etc.

I would also look into Telecasters, they are pretty popular in indie crowds and the standard tele is about the same price as an SE, around here at least.

Cheers for that, but i've already got a Strat so i was thinking something a bit different. Perhaps a semi-hollow or something.

I would definitely recommend the normal SE Single cut with humbuckers. It will be a lot more versatile and it looks better.

I've got one, sounds and plays great, def recommend trying one out.

As for another recommendation for £400 i'd say take a look at a Baja Tele if you can
