so for the past week, i'd been researching the do's and Dont's as far as biasing an amp yourself. i took all the precautions etc, and biased the deluxe at around 62-63, i read fenders' often come biased at 60mv(i can only bias them as a pair) etc.

here's the question:

was i supose to have the volume at my normal gigging volume? because i biased it with the volume at 0. and if that does matter, should i recenter the bias trim back to center?

one of the biasing guide said to turn the volume(without the guitar plugged in) to my normal playing volume, but i wasnt sure if that was just for ear testing purposes or not.
