me and my buddy were talking about Motely Crue's comeback and i'd heard it wasnt too good, they sounded bad, dumming was off... so i was wonder what you guys thought about them, any really good comebacks, what bands should do them, or whatever

Personally, (even though this would never happen but) i think a Pink Floyd comeback would be amazing.

also i searchbar'ed and suprisingly came up with nothing so sorry if this has been done

van halen's comeback tour was pretty epic.

last night i saw U2 in Toronto, which isn't really a comeback because they've been going strong for the better part of 30 years now, but it was ****ing amazing. they had the roof open on the skydome, which has only ever happened twice for a concert, and it was truly surreal. just goes to show that older bands can still put on a show just as good (better imo) as when they were young.

I don't think this is that far-fetched. It might not be the same without Wright, but

I'd still like to see Zeppelin + Jason Bonham.

As was The Stooges actually.
Super Leeds and Classy Cas!

Pixies were amazing. I saw them TWICE after the reunion and they were brilliant.

Yea, Sublime is a great band. You have an Underoath icon, so I think your opinion doesn't matter.

it was to show that old bands are still very much capable of putting on a show that shakes an entire city.

2 bands I never thought I would ever get to see were Stone Temple Pilots and Face to Face because they had both broken up, and got the opportunity to see both of them on the same day.

Buy fresh sliced deli ham and stop being a bitch. Also, never microwave ham ever, it's in strict violation of ham law.

I saw Alien Ant Farm at Sonisphere if it counts as a comeback. They were great.

I also saw Limp Bizkit. I left...

Aw man...

The last remaining shred of hope for any sort of comeback died with him.

Hmmm, when I saw Motley Crue last summer the only thing that sounded bad about them was Vince Neils voice and that's only because he's gotten so fat he can't keep up with the songs. However, Styx and R.E.O Speedwagon still put on a pretty good show for a bunch of old guys.

Generally reunions are a big ol' failfest.

However, a Soundgarden comeback would be awesome.

When Chains came back a few years ago, like 2007 or so, i saw their homecoming show in Seattle in this awesome oldschool theater that has the best acousitcs of any place ive been. it only fits like 2000 people. Heart came out and played too an acousitc set with em. Now they're comin back again on the 24th and somehow, even though the site said it was soldout after 5 mins, im seein em again.

in May i saw the Allman Bros, Doobie Bros, and The Dead. i guess u can call that a reunion. the Dead were great but took a retardedly long break, which tripping felt like eternity. the Allman Bros had some members doin good, some just kinda meh, id seen em twice be4.

I wanna see Steely Dan tour too, but tickets be like 60$ for the cheap seats.
