There's no such thing as drop e. unless your tuning you guitar up anyway.

Doesn't slayer use standard? Or standard a half step down?
#3
drop e? isn't that basically standard tuning? o.0

Drop E?
Have fun with that.
Slayer uses Eb, in other words, a half step down.

I think that might be what TS meant; Dropping standard E half a step down?

Anyways, Slayer use it, GWAR use it,, CKY use it I think? I don't know a whole lot of bands that do, really :-/
Then I shall insert my erect penis into the narrow vaginal cavity of my blood-relative whom I predate by approximately 5 years.

like all G'N'R songs are in drop Eb. Most Simple Plan. Creed sometimes do i think....not so sure on that one
Any phrase followed by the word "FACT!" makes it more true that it already is.

Even though i am not a fan of your name i know cannibal corpse uses it and also i know a lot of bands that do covers of songs that were originally in standard do them in Eb to get a deeper sound i.e. master of puppets cover by Trivium

If you mean tuning your low E string down a couple of steps all the way down to
E B E A D G, then Meshuggah's Spasm song is played in this tuning except on 7 string guitars, they did rerecord the song on real 8 strings later though. I use this tuning a lot. For this tuning you will be needing a heavy set of strings though, maybe a 70 for the low E string.

BUT

If you mean just tuning down half a step, then there are hundreds of songs done in this tuning.
