At first I thought it was an RG1550 because of the pickguard, but it doesn't have a maple fretboard. So it's possibly a 1570, because the advert says it was a 'Custom made 3ply scratchplate', as the 1570 doesn't have a pickguard stock.

So I think it might be a 1570, but I cant find any evidence of it ever being made in this colour? Anyone have any ideas? Cheers!

This is all the information there is about it on the advert.

" * 2002/2003 Ibanez RG Prestige
* Edge-Pro tremolo with top nut locking system
* Wizard neck, flat, super fast
* Custom made 3ply scratchplate
* Bare Knuckle Nailbomb Humbuckers & Bare Knuckle Mothers Milk single coil
* Trem Setter installed, this helps keep the tension in the trem better
* Pristine condition, not a mark on it
* Comes with Hiscox hard case."

My best guess would be an old 1570 model too.... Maybe you should ask the advertiser?

After looking into it, it looks like the RG1550GX, but all the gold hardware has been changed to black/cosmo, pickguard and knobs have been replaced, and bare knuckle pickups.

I've already bought this, just waiting for it to come. Don't actually know what model it is haha, but I saw it's an older prestige Ibanez with Bareknuckles, so it's gotta be good!

I thought I read the nailbomb was not good for Basswood?
