Right, so, got about 2000 pounds to spend, looking for a guitar with quite a slim neck, humbucker in the bridge and either 2 single coils or another humbucker. Also a floyd rose or similar.. thingy.

Basicly, a shred guitar. I've completely forgot what else I should say here to help you lot help me, so if anything else ye want to know please ask >_>;
Y hallo thar.
Gear: Bogner XTC Classic, Suhr Carve Top, Gibson Santa Fe LP, a few nice pedals. All good fun =3

Well if you want a good guitar, LTD has some sick models in the F-series department.

Pretty and with a floyd rose!
http://espguitars.com/guitars_f.html

I do not know how much the F-E50 costs, but its a beauty.

If that is too expensive look into some Schecters or Jacksons.
Specifically the Schecter Hellraiser FR, because any other guitar with a floyd by schecter is a rip-off.

I have an LTD too, and I love it

But the ESP's are just in another league though so if he can afford one, he should definately go for ESP over LTD.

Oh yes, i especially love the F-Series.

I am just saying that ESP should make an ESP model of the F series, that would make me oh so happy.

I agree, completely. Look at the high fret access on that thing!!

Oh yeah, ESP NV-II is another ESP shred guitar with great high fret access, but the bridge... not so good. Worth a look though

They do though, they have 4 different models in their Standard Series line up which you can easily get from any good ESP Dealership outside of the US (to my knowledge some regions you may not get them). They have the F(orest) STD S, F(orest) STD 7, F(orest) STD FR, F(orest) GT STD.

Caparison TAT
Caparison Dellinger
ESP M-II

+1 to Caparison I would check these out if you can. Especially if this new guitar is going to be matched up with a Suhr you already have, IMO Caparisons are very close to that level while outside of perhaps a true custom ESP/Ibanez etc. just don't match up.

Parker neck and buzz feiten tuning eh. I'm sold. =P

Although I might just need to check some caparisons as well...

For the KSE album (latest one) they both used Capa's in the studio. Tim Miller from PTH now uses Caparison guitars as well. Great guitars all round, I love mine.

I completely recommend the Steve Vai signature Ibanez! That guitar is a beauty, and plays like a beast!

It runs for around $1700.
