I think the title I chose describes it pretty well. Here's a lick that describes what I'm talking about:

----------------------
----------------------
--12br10----12b-10h12-
---------12-----------
----------------------
----------------------

... specifically where you go from the 12 on the D string to the 12b on the G string. I know how to roll, but it seems weird to like roll up to the 12 and then like continue sliding up enough to bend (I'm bending it towards the ground). Is this the right way to do it or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

Roll onto the G and then push it towards the D. Might be easier that way.

i wouldn't roll it ....when you play the 12 on the D string with your ring just shift down a string to the G string and bend it. That's how id play it

Yeah, that's how I play stuff like that too, it's like this quick little hop to the next string.

if you play the d string with the very tip of your finger and then roll it shouldn't be awkward
