I don't think you understand how to use the pit.
I will stand by all this drinking if it helps me through these days,
It takes a long time just to get this all straight.

Technically it's clean, but it sounds like generic soloing to me. I'd rather listen to Clapton or Cantrell play half as many notes with some soul.

That's IMO, though.

Speed + clean = good. I know lots of people that will say "speed isnt a matter of skill"...it is to an extent, But Only if played clean, if Ynwgie (sp?) played his normal speed, but sloppy, No one would probly think hes a god, But the the years of practising to be cleaner is what is the talent part.

On topic : no i wouldnt call him good, Pretty sloppy, and not very much exitment in his playing.

Haha you guys are all butthurt. He is obviously a very talented player.

That's a poor argument. I just don't like shred. I said he was technically sound. So we're not ALL butthurt.

Yes, within the context of shred guitar playing thats not bad.

Your mistake is posting it in the Pit, where soon many 1star ratings will be applied.

Well, considering it says "warmup exersize" I'm not really going to judge the musicality of it. By the same token, it being a warmup exercise means the guy should be aiming to be metronomically perfect, and not only play the notes cleanly but with even articulation. He doesn't quite have this down. Some bits are rushed and some parts are a little muddy. He's definitely a solid player though.
#31
lol, this you see the "Invisible whammy bar trick" video on his profle?

The name reminded me of the whammy without a whammy bar kid
#32
He's a good player, but that didn't sound all that good. I can't sit there and listen to that, it's not really music.
