wait you got a new guitar and you melted the fretboard off to fix a warp? why didnt you just send it back!

on topic: are you covering the fretboard when that iron's on it so it doesnt burn?

the iron isn't hot enough to actually burn anything, so no. if it was a laquerd maple neck, i would cover it.

and the guitar was 200 dollars. it really isn't worth my time or money to pay 30 dollars to send a 200 dollar guitar back only to get a refund in a month. its easier and MUCH cheaper to just fix it myself.
