How does it sound?
Well the footswitch that came with it is bitching since it's going to work with my Engl Fireball!

But seriously... the cleans are nice, very sparkly, some twang
The leads sound just like Dime and the gain is very trebly, reminds me (for the looks too: green) of my Rocktron Chameleon, which I paid 150$ although a bit less digital.
#13
The pics came out pretty good.
It's not your usual tube gain sound, I don't really like it but I'm sure Dime fans and other metal fans would.

For those who know analog synths, the sweep button seems like a high pass/low pass filter.

HNAD!!!!! This will one day be a main part of my tone, once I get enough money. But, for god's sake, get rid of the Groove Tubes, at least I think thats the tubes in there.

You have no experience with racks??? What kind of guy are you?

Yep, Groove tubes indeed. The one buying the amp will like them I'm sure

Heh... not true.

Similar to WTF!, I prefer the Rev series over the Krankenstein anyday.

However, its still a dang cool amp no less.

I've been wanting a Krank for awhile because I love the cleans they have, I don't care for the gain though. But those cleans are nice and bright.

when i tried the rev, i really liked it besides the fact that it was really hard to get all the excess treble frequencies out of there, but by turning the knobs veeeery carefully i managed to get a great metal sound with punch, bite, and thickness to it. haven't tried the krankenstein though, and i hope to someday. if you're trying to get less of the harsh sound, work with the presence and sweep knobs.

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

It's ok, anyway you're better off buying from the US, it will cost you less in shipping and customs. Any takers from Canada?
