I'm looking to replace the pickups in my Ibanez RG3EXFM1 for something better. I was thinking about getting dimarzio pickups. I'm looking for ones that have a nice clear sound, can do a good amount of distortion (like all that remains), but also lighter distortion for pop punk. any recomendations?

I got my sister pregnant once. Yeah, that was awkward, but mostly because she's 6 years younger than me.

Bottom line: EMG's. Yeah, I know everyone says that, but whatever you need, they have a pickup that can do it spectacularly. Just go to their website or Guitar Center's website and browse the different models until you find something. And you will. Hope this helped.

What amp are you using?

If you're using a cheap practice amp then swapping pickups will make a minimal difference in tone and won't be worth the price of new pickups.
