I've had my guitar set to a drop D tuning for a long time now, and i want to change the tuning to drop C/B or whatever, so all I have to do is adjust those springs inside the guitar to raise the bridge up for lower tunings, right?

And if that is what I have to do, will i need to reset the intonation too?

You'll have to adjust the truss rod in the neck as well I think for the change in tension.
