some time ago i restrung my guitar for down tuning

C-standard,

it was ernie ball strings and can't remeber what gauge, one thing is it had a wound g

ive been through various gauges for different tuning with the guitar and recently bought "not even slinkys" to put it back in C standard

however it has a plain g and sound pants and to tight for a wound string,

Ive been looking at the website and cant find any sets with a wound g

any help?

never happened to me last time

have you ever played with a 0.24 plain string? seriously it's same thickness as a paper clip!

I'm playing with a 22 as my 3rd string. feels fine. i've gotten used to it.

you're not gonna want to take a dump in a gross, off-colored, vintage toilet. you want something that is white and pearly; something that shines. something that you can put your cheeks against and say, "f*** yeah"

i play not even slinkys for C standard n iv never come across a wound G on any thick strings so maby u had something else or maby a diffrent brand lol but u will need a think G for that tuning just to keep it stable u get ust to them after a while and with them being so slack it shouldnt be to hard lol

I've used wound G's since my 3rd pack of strings, and that's never happened to me.

Edit: D'Addario makes wound G's with .10's
