I'm interested to hear what you know/your interpretations of Mr. Crowley lyrics.

Is this song saying Crowley was wrong - "You fooled the people with magic" and "Mr. Charming, did you think you were pure"

Also, is the "White Horse" a cocaine reference or a biblical reference. Discuss.

Yes, I know it's about Aleister (sp?) Crowley who was into the Occult and black magic, but is the song a knock on Crowley? "What went wrong in your head"?

It was based on books and stuff about Aleister Crowley (British occultist) and ya he did own that house Page bought.

The white horse line would be biblical referring to purity, etc.

I think it was more of Ozzy's interest in the dark stuff (just like in Black Sabbath's stuff bout satan/black magic/etc. and he decided to do a song about one of the most known of them.

"What went wrong in your head?" would probably be him wondering how/why have you done this stuff, why do think of all this stuff?

there's a difference between the occult and satanism
If I stay too quiet
I can hear her walking by
Death cold air is moving
Like the touch of her hand

ikuisesti hallussa surua,
pienentynyt enkeli, ottaa minuun,
johtaa minut tämän arvokkaan valoa,
ja ikuiseen pimeyteen.
